Special Series at Shri …

These series are a chance to either start or dive deeper into your yoga practice outside of our regular schedule.

The Model:

  • Four Saturdays in a row / month

  • Led by senior Shri teachers on our regular weekly schedule

  • 1 - 2 pm / date

  • All levels welcome

  • policies defined when you sign up

  • Each series will repeat a couple of times / year

  • Space is limited


STAND Strong & Steady

This series is led by Crystal Vernava, one of Shri's most senior teachers, and will be presented in the most supporting and accessible environment, which Shri is known for in our community outreach work.

What You’ll Learn

🎯Week One: Mountain pose, triangle & crescent lunges

🎯 Week Two: Warriors 1, 2 and 3 with exalted warrior variations

🎯 Week Three: Standing forward folds

🎯 Week Four: Tree and other standing, balancing postures


Brand New Series, New to Yoga

This series is led by Kate Hawley, one of Shri's most senior teachers, and will be presented in the most supporting and accessible environment, which Shri is known for in our community outreach work.

What You’ll Learn

🎯Week One: The definition of yoga and introduction to foundational postures and mindful breathing

🎯 Week Two: Introducing sun salutations, standing postures and alignment practices

🎯 Week Three: Adding into your practice accessible arm balances, seated twists and meditation techniques

🎯 Week Four: Pulling it all together with a tutorial on how props can build and support your practice
