“Drove by and thought I had to try. Very glad I did. The service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming people. And the food.. very fresh and delicious. Great cozy spot for breakfast.”— Arielle M.

“I got my order to go and literally my first bite of that sandwich was heaven. Sooo much better than going to dunks. Also this place supports workers with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That's who I want to support too. Great people here and the food reflects that.”— Katie D.

Inclusive Coffee Shop: “With accessible yoga classes, affordable and market-rate apartments, and an art studio for people with developmental disabilities, Shri’s transformation of a former office building in Pawtucket’s Conant Thread District was already a home run. Last year, the property added another initiative in its inclusivity portfolio: LIFE Cafe, a coffee shop that doubles as a job training site for people with disabilities. Operated by Bristol-based LIFE Inc., the cafe offers espresso drinks, snacks, and breakfast sandwiches in a comfortable environment where all are welcome. Plus, it transformed a blighted former garage into a hip coffee counter in a quickly revitalizing neighborhood. Talk about a win-win.” - August 2025

“I've visited LIFE Cafe multiple times and the staff has been friendly and eager to assist. Great drip coffee, breakfast sandwiches, a variety of donuts, muffins and bagels. Join the coffee club and make progress toward a free beverage. Very clean inside and outside. Plenty of off street parking. Near the commuter rail.”

As for the garage on the property, Bologna says many people encouraged her to demolish it, but she had a vision to transform it using historic preservation funds.
