Tami Hughes “… has over 20 years of architectural experience and advanced knowledge of Revit. In addition to being a key player on project teams and managing large teams of consultants, Tami is the firm’s Revit Manager. To say that she's a "go-getter" is an understatement! Tami exceeds expectations in and out of the office, and clients appreciate her can-do attitude. Interested in giving back to the community, Tami is a mentor and serves on the board of directors with the ACE Mentor Program of RI, a volunteer program geared towards exposing high school students to the architecture, construction, and engineering fields. Mayor Maria Rivera “…  Mayor Maria Rivera is the 33rd Mayor of Central Falls. She is the first female Mayor in city history, and first Latina Mayor in the State of Rhode Island. Mayor Rivera was born in Camden, NJ, and her family moved to Chicago shortly after. Raised with Puerto Rican roots, she took many ESL classes to keep up with her academics because her parents spoke only Spanish at home. Today, she is grateful to be bilingual, a gift many Central Falls residents also share. Mayor Rivera moved to Central Falls in 1987 with her parents where she has lived ever since, proudly raising her two children here. Elected in November 2020 as the Mayor of Central Falls with 77% of the vote, she took office on January 4, 2021 accepting the challenge to lead Central Falls in the midst of the COVID pandemic. Prior to this role, Mayor Rivera was the top-vote getter in the 2018 election of all Central Falls City Council Candidates and became the first female and first Latino Central Falls City Council President. She earned her BA in Public Administration from Roger Williams University and is a 1995 graduate of Central Falls High School. During her administration, Mayor Rivera is prioritizing affordable housing with a promise to build 200 new units over her tenure, improving education facilities and outcomes, and the building of a new community center, a resource the city has gone without for over a decade. Patricia Rivera ”… is a mother of 5, grandmother of 7 and 4 great grandchildren, Patricia Rivera is 63 years young. She is an advocate with over 2 decades of experience working to empower women (and men) through their journey of healing. She is a survivor of domestic violence and now dedicates her life to creating necessary changes to help survivors and their children live a happy,  healthy lifestyle despite the challenges they face from trauma. She is also a worship leader and enjoys employing diverse media to lead people to wellness … “
