How The Night Works
This year Shri's annual fundraiser is an elegant, interactive light installation + celebration funding free yoga outreach programs in our brand new building at 390 Pine Street in Pawtucket!
Shri, in the language of yoga, means "light," and we are asking friends and family to “Light Our Lanterns!” with sponsorships at various levels on our online “lantern pages” that will in turn fund free outreach classes for those in need through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

There are TWO Ways to Support this Event & to Celebrate with Us!

1) Light Our Lanterns!
You can light one of our lanterns here.
Lanterns can be personalized in memory of someone special, or dedicated to a specific cause or purpose by posting a message in the "comments section" when you make a donation. Those dedications will go live on our website and in our space the night of the event for a truly all inclusive experience.

🥰 If you’d like to get YOUR OWN LANTERN - you can! 🥰
Friends and family can light your own lantern, on your own fundraising page that you manage; and for your efforts, if you raise $35 or more on your own lantern fundraising page, we will email you a discount code for ONE free ticket to this event!
**Because this is a fundraiser, any of your supporters who “light YOUR PERSONAL lantern,” on your own fundraising page, will still need to purchase tickets to attend the installation in person the night of the event.**

The installation will open at 6:30 pm on October 4th with a cocktail party (complimentary greeting drink, local food & cash bar), live DJ music, the presentation of the Shri Spotlight Awards and dancing!

How Your Support Makes A Difference
Shri Service Corps™ is Shri's 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm, which funds and delivers free yoga outreach and wellness programs to special needs and underserved populations with skilled teachers trained on a joyful, rhythm-based curriculum reducing toxic stress and increasing physical, social and emotional health through shared, safe and informed practices.
Every month, more than 140 classes are fully funded by Shri, which means they are both free to participants and to the agencies through which they attend. Those asked, reported feeling “stronger and healthier” with our regular practice together.
Shri serves more than 10,000 people every year throughout Rhode Island (and beyond)! Participants in our classes are in schools, hospitals, shelters, recovery centers (and more!), and our curriculum is delivered by more than 40 Shri-certified teachers who are helping Rhode Islanders reduce toxic stress and improve overall health and quality of life.
The $35 cost to attend this fundraiser is the same as any other event at Shri, and 100% of proceeds funds free Shri programs. This supports our philosophy that philanthropy should participatory and accessible.
