Healing Arts at Shri

We are wholeheartedly dedicated to our mission of supporting Healing Arts for Everyone

We are excited to expand our offerings beyond traditional practices such as yoga, meditation, and bodywork in 2024

Private Art Classes:

We work in collaboration with Flying Shuttles Studio, a nonprofit partner organization who provides support to artists and weavers with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the hall from our yoga studio.

Contact Us to register for private classes and to connect with their program director. This is an employment program provided by The ARC of Blackstone Valley.

Developing Programs

Storytelling Workshops:
The power of storytelling to heal, inspire, and connect individuals. These workshops encourage self-reflection, empathy, and community building, fostering a deeper understanding of oneself and others.

Music Events:
Music has a remarkable ability to uplift the spirit. Our music events feature talented local artists from various genres to create a source of joy, inspiration, and emotional release.

Sound Meditations:
Sound baths provide a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in an environment of healing sounds, often created by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. These immersive experiences help induce a meditative state, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and the restoration of harmonious energy within the body.

Art Exhibitions:
Our art exhibitions will showcase the work of local artists, providing a platform for expression and storytelling through visual art. From paintings and to photography and mixed-media installations, these exhibits inspire conversations, encourage self-reflection, and contribute to the healing journey of our community.

Mindfulness Immersions:
Facilitated workshops inside our new studios and guided “urban walks” in our city will be offered in 2024. Rooted in mindfulness principles and practices these meditative experiences will offer one-of-a-kind community building activities.

Public Murals:
During construction we commissioned art to lift us up! Here is the “Support Pawtucket” mural by Jennifer Boyle Hebda on our campus “garage!” We welcome pitches for other spots on our campus with the idea of art constantly coming and going!

"Shri’s mission is to bring light to the community through healing arts."

Works by local artists are for sale inside our studio. We support their employment programs all year long.
